Robert Moses Beach

One Saturday in February, my wife and I had a courier job out to Long Island. It was a beautiful day, so I made sure I had my drone with me. After we dropped off the package, we decided to drive out to Fire Island to see the ocean. It was cold and snowy, but there were lots of people taking advantage of the weather to walk the beach with their dogs and their children. I even spotted young lovers cuddled under a blanket, just watching the waves break on the shore.

The sun was beginning to set as we returned to the car. The clouds were spectacular as I lifted off with my drone. This is a shot looking north towards the Robert Moses bridge. The obelisk in the distance is at the roundabout at the end of the bridge leading to the beach area. I'm so glad I had a chance to capture his wonderful scene.
